The airline Norwegian reported a pre-tax loss of 761 million kroner in the second quarter, according to the quarterly report released on Tuesday. This represents a significant decrease compared to the same period last year, when the company recorded a pre-tax profit of 1.05 billion kroner. Operating revenues were 10.4 billion kroner, compared to 10.3 billion last year, which was lower than analysts' expectations of 10.65 billion. Operating result before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDAR) fell to 553 million kroner, down from 2.6 billion in the second quarter last year.
