Madeleine Dellamonica, born on July 23, 1912, has become the oldest person in France at 113 years old, following the passing of Marie-Rose Tessier, who was 115. Dellamonica, a recognized Egyptologist and author, resides in Le Vésinet, Yvelines, and is cared for by staff and a companion. She is a former student of the École du Louvre and a member of the Société d’égyptologie since 1993, having authored "Thoutmosis III, le plus grand des pharaons : son époque, sa vie, sa tombe." Her predecessor, Marie-Rose Tessier, died on February 11th, having lived a long life with robust health until joining a retirement home at 100.
