Nucléaire : Donald Trump se demande pourquoi l’Iran n’a pas déjà « capitulé » face aux menaces de Washingtonà 15h03 22.02.2026

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff revealed that President Donald Trump is questioning why Iran has not yet "capitulated" to Washington's military pressure and threats regarding a nuclear deal. This comes after indirect talks near Geneva, mediated by Oman, concluded without a breakthrough, amidst an intensified U.S. military deployment in the Gulf, including two aircraft carriers. Trump, who issued a 15-day ultimatum for an agreement, expressed surprise that Iran, facing significant naval power, has not come forward with concessions on its nuclear program, despite acknowledging the difficulty in achieving this. Witkoff also confirmed meeting Reza Pahlavi, son of the former Shah, on Trump's instructions, a move coinciding with Trump's suggestion that regime change would be beneficial for Iran.
