During the month of Ramadan, which began on February 17, 2026, the mosque in La Roche-sur-Yon, Vendée, is providing daily meals for Muslims. On the first evening, approximately 70 individuals attended the communal iftar. The initiative, organized by the Vendée Maghreb association, features a daily preparation of harira soup, a Moroccan specialty. Each day, a different family contributes ingredients and prepares the meal within the mosque's kitchen, fostering a sense of community and shared practice during the fasting period.
