One Nation support surges with women, wealthy, city voters 03.06.2026

Analysis of a year's worth of Resolve Political Monitor polling, from May 2025 to May 2026, reveals a significant surge in support for Pauline Hanson's One Nation party across diverse demographics. Notably, the party now garners more support from women than men, with female backing rising to 24 percent from 6 percent a year prior, while male support increased to 22 percent. The party has also seen substantial growth among younger voters (18-34), the affluent, and inner-city residents. Despite a traditional voter base of those over 55 in rural areas, this broadening appeal poses a growing threat to both the Labor and Coalition parties, with One Nation achieving 24 percent of the primary vote in the most recent poll, placing it ahead of the Coalition and only four points behind Labor.
