Lino Rodríguez González, who served as the General Government Coordinator for the South-Southeast Region of the State of Mexico, was detained on the afternoon of Thursday, June 2, in the municipality of Toluca. The arrest was carried out as part of Operation Swarm (Operación Enjambre), an operation coordinated by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC). The official is accused of the crimes of kidnapping and organized crime.
