Mrs Racheal Alamu, the principal abducted with teachers and students in Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State, recounted the harrowing 56-day ordeal after being officially handed over to Governor Seyi Makinde. She described how the victims were kept in open forests, exposed to harsh weather, and forced to trek for hours at night when hideouts were discovered. The youngest children suffered severe beatings when they cried, with their mouths tied with cloth to silence them, while male teachers were blindfolded, handcuffed, and chained on their legs.
