Over 500 Toyota vehicles recalled due to programming issues 08.08.2026

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has confirmed the recall of 509 Toyota vehicles in South Africa due to a programming issue affecting the combination meter system. The recall, prompted by a notification from Toyota SA Motors, impacts several models including 16 RAV4 PHEV, four Corolla Cross, 391 Corolla Hatchback, 12 Crown, and 86 GR Corolla vehicles. These vehicles were sold through Toyota's dealer network nationwide, with production dates ranging from October 2022 to July 2024.
