Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk has announced a significant downturn in trade between Russia and Armenia, a development he described as predictable. Speaking to TASS, Overchuk stated that Russian officials had been warning their Armenian counterparts about the risks of a trade decline for the past three to four years. The trade relationship, which had reached a record high of approximately $12 billion in 2024, has since experienced a sharp reversal.
