Partis pour un tour du monde à moto, ils se font arrêter en Iran et sont condamnés à dix ans de prison 19.02.2026

British couple Craig and Lindsay Foreman, who were on a motorcycle tour of the world, have been sentenced to ten years in prison in Iran for espionage. The couple, in their fifties, were detained in January 2025 after entering Iran from Armenia, despite Foreign Office warnings against travel to the country. Iranian authorities claim the Foremans were collecting intelligence while posing as tourists, a charge they deny. They are being held in Evin prison, with Lindsay in the women's section and Craig in the political wing. Their son expressed deep concern, stating their trial lasted only three hours and they were not allowed to present a defense. The British Foreign Secretary has condemned the sentence as "revolting and totally unjustifiable."
