According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics, as of June 1, the passenger electric vehicle fleet in Kazakhstan grew to 24,634 units. Over the past 12 months, the number of vehicles increased by 55.6%, indicating a continued steady expansion of this market segment. The highest number of electric vehicles was recorded in Almaty—15,280 units, accounting for 62% of all registrations in the country. The top three also include Astana with 2,885 electric vehicles and the Almaty region, which has 1,589 units.
