Patrushev noted the importance of developing internal waterways and implementing large-scale projects for national and international transport corridors. According to him, President Vladimir Putin is setting tasks for the industry that must guarantee the transport independence and economic security of the state. These measures are viewed as a key element in protecting national interests amidst a changing geopolitical environment that requires accounting for new military threats, including the creation of a naval alliance between Europe and Ukraine.
