Jeyenderan has urged that the multibillion-ringgit investment in Pengerang must now yield measurable operational and financial improvements, particularly as PRefChem continues to experience losses. Jeyenderan, CEO of Maritime Network Sdn Bhd with over 30 years of shipping experience, stated that the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) should be evaluated using clear, transparent indicators rather than broad assurances. He outlined specific benchmarks for success, including higher and more consistent plant utilisation, fewer unplanned shutdowns, narrowing losses, positive operating cash flow, and a competitive return on capital invested over the next few years.
