The 'Day After' project, implemented by the 'Country for Children' foundation, is aimed at the socio-psychological rehabilitation of children from Russia's new regions and border territories who have experienced combat operations. Approximately half of the teenagers who have faced shelling suffer from symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), manifesting as anxiety, nightmares, and hypervigilance. The program includes psychological assistance, art therapy, and socialization through camp sessions, which have already conducted more than 30 sessions for four thousand participants. Specialists help children overcome fears caused by loud noises and flashes of light, and assist them in adapting to peaceful life. In addition to the camps, a network of regional centers called 'Pulsar' is being developed to support families. The main goal of the initiative is to restore a sense of security to children and help them overcome the heavy psychological burden acquired in war conditions.
