PIC odlučuje o novom visokom predstavniku u Bosni i Hercegovini 03.06.2026

U Sarajevu je počela dvodnevna sjednica Upravnog odbora Vijeća za provedbu mira (PIC) na kojoj će se razmatrati kandidati za novog visokog predstavnika u Bosni i Hercegovini, nasljednika Christiana Schmidta koji je podnio ostavku u maju. Sjednica, koja se održava u zgradi Parlamentarne skupštine BiH, ključna je za budućnost međunarodnog nadzora i primjenu Dejtonskog mirovnog sporazuma, kao i za diskusiju o korištenju bonskih ovlasti. Izbor novog visokog predstavnika ne zahtijeva konsenzus, već dovoljnu podršku država članica. PIC čine Kanada, Francuska, Njemačka, Italija, Japan, Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo, SAD, EU, Evropska komisija i Turska (kao predstavnik OIC-a), dok Ruska Federacija ne učestvuje u sastancima od jula 2021. godine.
