Tropical Storm Pilandok has slightly slowed down as it continues to affect weather conditions over Luzon and the Visayas, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). The storm is enhancing the southwest monsoon, locally known as Habagat, which is bringing moderate to heavy rains across several regions. PAGASA has advised residents in low-lying and mountainous areas to remain vigilant against possible flash floods and landslides.
