Ex-Nigeria Airways workers have attributed the delay in the disbursement of their N36bn entitlement to a missing presidential approval document. The workers, who have been in protracted discussions with the government over their severance and pension benefits, stated that without the signed document from the presidency, the payment process cannot proceed. This development adds another hurdle to the already prolonged struggle for compensation by the former employees of the defunct national carrier.
