Leszek Kraskowski, a former investigative journalist, was detained on June 6 and arrested for three months on charges of unauthorized possession of firearms and ammunition, as well as threatening the death of the district police chief in Piaseczno. Weapons and ammunition were found during a search of his car. The District Prosecutor in Warsaw, Piotr Antoni Skiba, stated that there is no longer a need for a preventive detention measure, although general and specific grounds still apply.
