The Nationalist Party (PN) has put forth a "skills wallet" initiative designed to promote lifelong learning and professional development in Malta. This proposal would allocate €1,000 to every Maltese citizen aged 18 and above, available for use on training and skills enhancement until retirement. The objective is to equip individuals to adapt to evolving job market demands and to strengthen the national workforce. PN Leader Alex Borg emphasized that this scheme aims to support continuous skill development throughout an individual's career, forming part of the PN's broader strategy for workforce resilience and future readiness.
