Poles have chosen the best prime minister. A fierce battle for second place 07.07.2026

A new survey conducted by IBRiS on behalf of Wirtualna Polska has yielded results regarding the assessment of the Prime Ministers of the Third Republic of Poland. Tadeusz Mazowiecki was recognized as the best Prime Minister after 1989, chosen by 16.4% of those surveyed. Donald Tusk came in second with 11.5%, while Mateusz Morawiecki received 11% of the votes. The survey results show clear political divisions among respondents. Voters of the ruling coalition most frequently indicated Donald Tusk, while supporters of the opposition rated Mateusz Morawiecki the highest. The study was conducted between June 12–14, 2026, on a nationwide sample of 1,000 people using CAWI and CATI methods. The largest group of respondents, as much as 29.8%, was unable to name a specific leader, answering "I don't know/it's hard to say."
