A police officer was slightly injured in an incident on the Trakia motorway near km 304 in Yambol Province, heading towards Burgas, around 6:20 PM. The uniformed officer was struck in the emergency lane by a passenger car that lost control while decelerating near the site of another accident. The officer sustained abrasions to the left arm and face and was transported to the "St. Panteleimon" hospital in Yambol. Alcohol and drug tests for both drivers returned negative results. There are no other casualties, but traffic is disrupted and is being regulated by traffic police, with drivers urged to exercise increased caution.
