Police recovered the decomposing body of a 32-year-old doctor from her 13th-floor flat at Aziz Super Market in Dhaka’s Shahbagh on Friday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Fara Ferdous, an MBBS graduate from Sir Salimullah Medical College who had passed the 39th BCS examination and was pursuing an MS degree at Bangladesh Medical University. Sub-inspector Mohammad Ekramul Haque of Shahbagh Police Station reported that a team broke open the door after receiving a complaint about a foul odor. They found Fara seated on a cot with her head resting on a table, her body already in a decomposing state.
