Despite identifying himself as Pope Leo, the representative hung up on him. Subsequently, the Pope sought assistance from a fellow priest, who managed to contact the bank's president. The bank initially maintained its in-person policy, prompting the Pope to threaten moving his account. Ultimately, the bank relented and made the requested changes, after which the Pope reportedly instructed them not to disclose his phone number.
