During a lying-in-state ceremony at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, on April 4, 2026, President Prabowo paid his respects, personally offering condolences and ensuring the fallen soldiers would be honored with posthumous promotions and compensation. Indonesia has also called for a thorough investigation and an extraordinary UN Security Council meeting to address these attacks.
