Veteran Dutch presenter Koos Postema has passed away at the age of 93, as confirmed by his family to news agency ANP. Postema, born in Rotterdam, had a distinguished career spanning decades in radio and television, notably as a reporter for "Achter Het Nieuws" and the host of the popular reunion program "Klasgenoten" in the 1980s. He also presented various NOS programs and was recognized for his ability to address taboo subjects like euthanasia and transsexuality in a relatable manner, earning him the Zilveren Nipkowschijf in 1969. Postema's career also included hosting "Ontbijt Met Koos" and reporting on significant events like the 1963 Elfstedentocht. He passed away yesterday with his daughters Judith and Ingrid by his side.
