President Trump says his power in the US is 'limited 14.01.2026

In a Jan. 13 interview with CBS Evening News, President Donald Trump stated that his domestic power is limited by his "morality," which he described as "very high grade," and also acknowledged restrictions imposed by the Constitution and courts. This statement followed his assertion to The New York Times that only his own morality could stop him globally. Trump made these remarks in Dearborn, Michigan, before a speech on the economy. He also vowed "very strong action" if Iran proceeds with the execution of anti-government protesters, a situation he had previously encouraged protesters to resist, promising aid. Addressing economic concerns, Trump defended his record, claiming he inherited inflation and that the U.S. is now the "hottest country in the world." He also commented on an investigation into Federal Reserve office building renovations, calling Fed Chair Jerome Powell "either corrupt or incompetent."
