Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, was arrested on Friday, February 20th, in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein affair. Police searched his former residence at Royal Lodge in Windsor for the second consecutive day. Andrew, 66, is being questioned on suspicion of "failures in the exercise of official duties," specifically for allegedly transmitting confidential information to Epstein during his tenure as the UK's Special Envoy for International Trade between 2001 and 2011. Following a nearly 12-hour detention, he was photographed leaving a police station near Sandringham. The British government is reportedly considering legislation to remove Andrew from the line of succession, where he currently stands eighth. King Charles III has expressed his "deepest concern" and stated that justice must take its course.
