15 maanden cel geëist voor Amsterdammer die Douwe Bob online bedreigde 17.03.2026

The Public Prosecution Service (OM) has demanded a 15-month prison sentence for Amsterdam resident Bob ter H. for threatening singer Douwe Bob. Ter H. sent multiple threats to Douwe Bob in June 2025 after the singer canceled a performance at a Jewish children's football event at AFC Amsterdam. The threats included explicit messages and the singer's home address, intended to instill fear. Douwe Bob fled the country with his family due to the threats, which he stated were a result of the organization's failure to adhere to an agreement to avoid religious or political statements, as he observed "Zionist posters and pamphlets" at the event. Ter H. claimed he was in a manic phase due to the Gaza conflict and lacked inhibitions, expressing shame and guilt for his actions. Experts recommended treatment for Ter H., who has multiple diagnosed disorders. Douwe Bob is seeking over 6000 euros in damages. The verdict is expected in two weeks.
