Proteste im Iran: Studierende protestieren wieder gegen iranisches Regime 23.02.2026

Iranian students are continuing protests against the authoritarian regime for a third consecutive day, with demonstrations occurring at multiple universities including Alsahra University in Tehran, Sharif University of Technology, and Amirkabir University of Technology. Videos circulating on social media show female students chanting anti-government slogans, reflecting heightened political tensions on campuses. These protests follow a significant wave of unrest at the beginning of the year, which led to university closures and a nationwide internet shutdown. The judiciary has reportedly issued a death sentence to a man and a 25-year prison sentence to his daughter in connection with the protests, following the killing of an officer, with fears of further executions by human rights organizations.
