The Social Democratic Party (PSD) has called on the Romanian Government to urgently pay the necessary court fees to defend the bronze medal won by gymnast Ana Maria Bărbosu at the Paris Olympics in the dispute with the United States at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. In a Facebook post, PSD emphasized that "our national pride is at stake" and sharply criticized the Government for what it considers a petty approach, stating that "a sound-minded state defends its national values at any cost."
