The Ministry of Housing has commenced the physical construction of the Water Catchment Point and plans the execution of the Drinking Water Treatment Plant (PTAP) and conduction lines, key components of Stage III of the Integral Water and Sewerage Project (PIAA) in Puno. The total investment exceeds S/ 513.8 million. The ceremony took place in Estancia Maravillas, Cabanillas, with the presence of President José María Balcázar, Minister Wilder Sifuentes Quilcate, and local authorities. This stage will improve access to drinking water for more than 370,000 inhabitants in Juliaca and San Miguel, promising a safer, continuous, and efficient service, which represents a significant advancement for the region's development and public health.
