Putin-Drohnen mit westlicher Technologie: Bericht enthüllt, wie Massenangriffe trotz Sanktionen gelingen 19.02.2026

A report by the Kyiv Independent and its partners reveals that Russia is circumventing Western sanctions to maintain a high drone production rate, utilizing components from Austrian, German, and US companies. An Austrian sensor from ams-OSRAM, a Bosch spark plug produced in China, and Infineon transistors have been found in Geran-2 drones shot down over Ukraine. These parts, manufactured in 2023 and 2024, were reportedly routed through intermediaries in Hong Kong, China, and Turkey, despite export bans implemented since 2022. In 2025, Russia attacked Ukrainian cities on 357 out of 365 nights with an estimated 32,000 drones, leading to significant civilian hardship. Meanwhile, Ukrainian civilians have filed lawsuits in the US against tech giants like Intel, AMD, and Texas Instruments, alleging willful ignorance in allowing their chips to be resold to Russia.
