The Court of Appeal (Landsréttur) has confirmed the continued travel ban on Quang Lé, a defendant in the most extensive human trafficking case ever investigated by the Icelandic police. He is suspected of human trafficking, forgery, and money laundering, with 29 victims involved in the case. Quang Lé was arrested and held in custody from March 6, 2024, but was subsequently released and placed under a travel ban on June 13 of the same year. He has therefore been subject to a travel ban for over two years.
