Renault prend le contrôle total de la société de camionnettes électriques Flexis 23.02.2026

Renault Group announced on Monday, February 23rd, that it will assume full control of the electric van company Flexis by acquiring the stakes previously held by Volvo and CMA CGM. Renault Group, which already owned 45% of Flexis, will now hold 100% of the capital, leading the project's development, which will remain based in France. This agreement, pending regulatory approvals, marks a new phase for Flexis, a joint venture established in March 2024 to produce small electric vans for urban last-mile delivery. Production of the first model, the Renault Trafic Van E-Tech electric, is slated to begin at the Renault Group factory in Sandouville, Seine-Maritime, by the end of 2026. Volvo will also market the vehicle starting in 2027.
