EXCLU ACTU RENNES : découvrez en images le nouveau MeM à Rennes, qui va bientôt ouvrir 20.02.2026

The new Magic Mirrors (MeM) venue in Rennes, France, is nearing completion and will host its first concert on March 6th. This upgraded facility, located in Piverdière west of the city, replaces the original MeM 1 and is described as potentially the "largest Magic Mirrors in the world." While the main concert hall is ready, some ancillary buildings, including a 250-seat hybrid cultural café/restaurant and a reception pavilion, are slated for later openings in autumn 2026 and May 2026, respectively. The MeM 2 boasts a significantly expanded circular stage (80 to 170 square meters), increased height, improved acoustics and insulation, and a larger diameter (29 to 39 meters). A new mezzanine will accommodate up to 300 standing guests, contributing to a total capacity of approximately 2,000 standing or 900 seated. The venue is designed to host a wide range of events beyond concerts, including professional gatherings and community activities.
