Following the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that occurred this Wednesday, security and emergency teams deployed in the Los Palos Grandes urbanization, Chacao municipality, to respond to the collapse of a building. Commissions from the Chacao Police, firefighters, and paramedics are coordinating efforts at the scene, where a large accumulation of debris is reported on the public road. During the initial actions, rescuers managed to extract one person alive from among the fallen structures. Paramedic personnel provided first aid on site, immobilized the victim on a stretcher, and transported them by ambulance to a healthcare center.
