Residents of Zhanaturmys village in the Almaty region have been left without water supply after a river, which had overflowed its banks, damaged the local water network upon returning to its channel. According to Kazinform, the water supply was temporarily suspended. The district akimat stated that specialists and an emergency crew from the Tausymaly Kyzmet institution have been mobilized to resolve the accident. Repair work to restore a stable water supply continued throughout the night and is ongoing in a continuous mode.
