A discussion was held at the President's Office, led by the President's Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumara, regarding the progress and current status of the circular aimed at controlling the risk of dengue infection. Based on the circular released on June 23, 2026, dengue eradication programs, prevention of spread in high-risk areas, increasing fogging activities, and information from the dengue control operations room were reviewed. The importance of new methods for dengue control, public engagement, the role of public health inspectors, and household-based cleaning activities was emphasized.
