The right bank channel of Azerbaijan's Tartarchay is slated for reconstruction following the completion of mine clearance in the affected areas, according to Ilham Guliyev, deputy chairman of the Board of the Regional Water Reclamation Service. This follows the earlier restoration of the Tartarchay main channel and the left bank channel, both originating from the Tartar-Sugovushan hydro-junction. Guliyev made these remarks during a media tour organized by the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ADSEA) in Khankendi and the Aghdara district. The entire reconstruction effort is being financed by the Azerbaijani state budget. These projects are anticipated to significantly improve the region's water management infrastructure, enhance irrigation capacities, and bolster agricultural development.
