The court ruled that the 33-year-old suspect from Rotterdam hit an 86-year-old woman on a pedestrian crossing in Capelle on February 12, 2023, with his car. The woman suffered severe injuries from which she later died in the hospital. The suspect stopped after the collision, but got back in and drove away. He then went to the gym to work out. The police were able to track him down later.
