A 23-year-old amateur rugby player, Noha Loubéty, is in critical condition after sustaining a blow to the temple during a Régionale 2 match on Sunday, February 22. Loubéty, an winger for the Sévérac-d’Aveyron reserve team, was struck by an opponent and fell unconscious on the field. He was airlifted to Rodez hospital and subsequently transferred and operated on in Toulouse on Monday morning due to a cerebral hemorrhage and skull fracture. His life remains in danger.
