Russia conducted deadly overnight strikes across Ukraine, hitting residential buildings, infrastructure, and a kindergarten, despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's unilateral declaration of a 24-hour ceasefire that began at midnight on Tuesday. Ukraine's air force reported that Russia launched 108 drones and three missiles, intercepting 89 drones, with impacts across eight locations. The Sumy region reported at least one fatality and two injuries from a drone strike on a kindergarten. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, at least four people were killed and 19 injured by strikes damaging buildings. Kharkiv and Kherson also experienced drone attacks. These attacks followed a broader assault earlier in the day that killed at least 28 people. Zelenskyy condemned the "brutal attacks" and Russia's refusal to observe the ceasefire, noting ongoing assault operations and airstrikes.
