Sam Neill, best known for his iconic role as Dr. Alan Grant in the "Jurassic Park" franchise, has died at the age of 78. In April, Neill had announced that he was cancer-free after participating in a clinical trial in Australia where he received CAR T-cell therapy. He was originally diagnosed with stage 3 angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) in 2022. While the family has not yet disclosed the cause of death, they noted that Neill remained cancer-free and expressed deep gratitude to the hospital staff for their care.
