Sars moves to seize assets linked to TS Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi 10h ago

The South African Revenue Service (Sars) has issued a final letter of demand to Tim Sukazi Incorporated, seeking to recover approximately R862,678.48 in outstanding tax obligations. Issued on June 23, the demand specifies that the bulk of the debt, totaling R766,897.77 including penalties and interest, stems from unpaid Pay As You Earn (Paye) obligations. The remaining amount relates to Skills Development Levy and Unemployment Insurance Fund liabilities. If the debt remains unpaid within ten business days, Sars may initiate aggressive collection measures, including obtaining a civil judgment and issuing a warrant of execution. This allows the sheriff to attach and sell assets linked to the law firm. While TS Galaxy Football Club is not a respondent, the legal action against Sukazi, a prominent attorney and PSL club owner, has drawn significant scrutiny regarding his business affairs.
