Schulting in tranen na shorttrackrentree: 'Dacht dat het nooit meer goedkwam' 20.02.2026

Suzanne Schulting made an emotional return to international short track speed skating on Friday evening at the Milano Ice Skating Arena, her first competition since September 2024 due to a broken ankle that sidelined her for two years. Despite a fall preventing her from reaching the final in the 1,500-meter race, Schulting expressed immense happiness and gratitude for being back on the ice without pain, a feeling she doubted she would experience again. She had recently rejoined the national team for just ten days of preparation after focusing on long track speed skating, where she qualified for the Olympics. Schulting is now eager to compete in the World Championships in Montreal from March 13-15, signaling a strong desire to return to her passion for short track.
