A meeting of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) at its temporary headquarters in Bahadurabad, Karachi, descended into chaos on Sunday evening as a scuffle between rival groups left at least four people injured. According to police officials, the clash erupted after senior leader Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui left the meeting, pitting supporters of Anis Qaimkhani and Mustafa Kamal against those backing Dr Siddiqui and Aminul Haque. Workers from the Qaimkhani group allegedly assaulted members of the Siddiqui group and forcibly removed them from the premises, with heavy firing reported from inside the headquarters.
