On July 7, 2026, an electric vehicle lost control and fell from the Si Rat Expressway near the entrance of Charoen Rat Soi 3 in the Sathorn district. The vehicle flipped upside down as it fell, landing on a motorcycle below. The accident resulted in two injuries. Lerdsin Rescue officers provided immediate assistance and rushed the injured to hospitals for urgent treatment. The first victim was taken to Lerdsin Hospital, and the second was taken to Saint Louis Hospital. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the vehicle losing control and falling from the expressway.
