Bursa Malaysia ended the trading day in negative territory as bearish sentiment dominated the industrial products and services sector, offsetting positive performance in telecommunications stocks. The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slid 1.09%, losing 18.31 points to settle at 1,663.82, its lowest point of the day. The index had opened 2.32 points higher at 1,684.45 and briefly touched a session high of 1,685.17 in early trading before selling pressure set in.
