The Valparaíso Regional Health Service has issued an urgent call to the Venezuelan community to inform themselves about the exceptional return protocol following the recent earthquakes. This measure seeks to ensure that foreign nationals are aware of the necessary safety and assistance procedures in the event of seismic emergencies in the region. Concurrently, various significant events have been reported regarding security and public health in different areas of the country. Among these events, a major operation in the Antofagasta Region stands out, resulting in the seizure of more than 2.7 tons of drugs and the arrest of ten people. Additionally, robberies in Vitacura and allegations of extortion in the media sector have been recorded, highlighting a complex public order situation in various Chilean localities.
