Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip on Saturday resulted in at least nine fatalities, according to Palestinian health officials. An airstrike on an apartment building in Gaza City's Sabra neighborhood killed four people, including two women and a child. In northern Beit Lahiya, Israeli forces shot and killed a woman. Another strike in Khan Younis killed one person and injured eight. Later in the day, an airstrike on the Bureij refugee camp killed three people, including Ahmed Wishah, a cameraman for Al Jazeera's Mubasher channel. Al Jazeera condemned what it called a "heinous crime," noting that Wishah's brother, also an Al Jazeera journalist, was killed by Israeli forces in April. The Israeli military stated it killed a Hamas militant who posed a threat and served as an Al Jazeera photojournalist, but provided no evidence. Hamas and Al Jazeera denied any affiliation.
